The Vietnam-Russia Tropical Scientific-Technological Research Centre opened its representative office in Moscow on Nov. 25.
Launching the office in Russia would help increase cooperation in scientific research between the two countries’ officials and scientists and promote achievements recorded by the centre in recent years, Russian Academician Dmitry Pavlov said at the opening ceremony.
The centre’s General Director, Major General and Academician Trinh Quoc Khanh said the centre had become a symbol and a new model in the two countries’ cooperation.
The Moscow office has been allocated its main tasks, including joint processing of scientific data, organizing training courses for Vietnamese scientists, solving issues relating to the centre’s operations and transferring Russian technology./.
