Vietnamese athletes are taking part at the Asian Youth Para Games in Malaysia.
The 22-strong team who have left for Kuala Lumpur compete in chess, swimming, judo, weightlifting, badminton and track-and-field.
Taking place from October 26-30, the Games features 14 sports, five more than when the event was last held in Tokyo in 2009.
The inaugural edition in Hong Kong in 2003 featured only two sports and the event is now seen as an important step towards bigger events such as next year's Asian Para Games in Incheon, the Republic of Korea, and the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.-VNA
