Vietnam will play host 10 big international sporting events this year, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has announced.
HCM City will host five events, including the Asian U-19 Women's Football Festival in June, the 2014 World Cup Asian qualifying round in June and July, the World Vovinam Championships in July, the final round of the Asian Women's Football Championships in October, and the Asian U-19 Men's Football Championships Group F qualifying round in October and November.
Hanoi will host the second qualifying round of men's football for the London 2012 Olympics in June and the Southeast Asian Youth Gymnastics Championships in July.
Finishing the line up, Da Nang will host the Southeast Asian Age Groups Swimming Championships in June, the nỏthern province of Hai Duong will host the 17th Southeast Asian Youth Table Tennis Championships and the Asian Boys' U-16 Basket Championships will be going to the central province of Khanh Hoa in October./.
