Vietnam’s cycling team will participate at the Asian Cycling Championship 2015 which kicks off on February 10 in Thailand.
The 14-strong team includes male veterans Le Van Duan, Trinh Duc Tam and Nguyen Thanh Tam, and female veterans Nguyen Thi That, Nguyen Thuy Dung and Phan Thi Lieu.
Among them, That won a silver medal at the 17th Asian Games in Incheon, the Republic of Korea, last year.
More than 400 races from 41 different countries will compete from 10pm until midnight in the four-day event which will finish on February 7.
This year’s tournament will provide a chance for Vietnam and other Southeast Asian nations to prepare for the 28th SEA Games in Singapore in June.-VNA
