Hanoi (VNA) - VietnamU19 female football team failed to find the net during a goalless draw withThailand in China on May 10.
Under pressure from the Thai counter attack, Vietnam’s defence held strong.
The first chance to break the deadlock fell to Vietnam’sNguyen Thi Tuyet Ngan but her shot was over the crossbar.

After that, Thailand went on to dominate the first half. Goalie Nguyen Thi Loanneeded to be at her best to keep the scores level.

After the break Thailand kept up the pressure but couldn’t do enough to findthe back of the net.

Vietnam are in third place in the event with one win, one draw and one loss.

The tournament gives Vietnamese team a good chance to train ahead of the AsianWomen’s U19 Football Championship in Thailand in October.-VNA
