Vietnamese gymnasts won two silver and two bronze medals at the Suzuki World Cup 2015 held in Tokyo, Japan on April 4-5, announced the Gymnastics Division under the National Sports Administration.
Phan The Gia Hien won a silver in the boys’ age group of 15-17 and Dao Ngoc Huy earned the other silver in the boys’ age group of 12-14.
Meanwhile, Tran Ha Vi won a bronze medal in the girls’ age group of 12-14. Huy, Vi, and Vu Ngoc Anh also bagged a bronze in the trio discipline.
Vietnam sent a 12-member delegation to the competition, which attracted athletes from 22 countries and territories worldwide.
Vietnamese gymnasts will also sharpen their skills at the Asian Gymnastics Championships, scheduled to be held in Ho Chi Minh City next November.-VNA
