Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnam secured one silver medal on the last day of the Asian Canoe Sprint Championships on October 18 in Shanghai, China.
The world junior champion Truong Thi Phuong finished second in the women’s C1 500m event with a time of two minutes, 10.04sec.
Earlier, Truong Thi Phuong, Le Chung Thu, Tran Thi Lan and Nguyen Thi Ngan came third in the women’s K4 200m with a time of 45.13sec.
Phuong and Ngan, as a pair, then secured third place in the women’s K2 500m event, timing 2min 3.01 sec.
The three-day competition saw Kazakhstan come out on top with 15 gold medals. The hosts China took second with nine titles.-VNA
