The delegation is comprised of 75 members, including 52athletes and 11 coaches and caretakers, led by Vice President and GeneralSecretary of the Vietnam Paralympic Association Vu The Phiet.
They will compete in seven out of 18 sports, namelyswimming, track and field, weightlifting, chess, badminton, table tennis, andjudo.
Pham Dong Anh, deputy head of the delegation, said athletesare determined to win the highest achievements in the tournament.
The Asian Para Games, which follows just after the AsianGames (ASIAD) every four years, will attract athletes from 45 countries andterritories.
The event aims to foster friendship, solidarity, and mutualunderstanding among regional countries.
At the previous Asian Para Games in 2014, Vietnam won ninegold, seven silver, and 13 bronze medals, finishing tenth in the overall medaltally. –VNA
