Bodybuilder Pham Van Mach from the Mekong delta province of An Giang finished on top in the men’s 52kg division at the world body-building and fitness championship in Varanasi, India, on Oct. 31.
Mach, who won Vietnam ’s first world title in Myanmar in 2001, outclassed his competitors to win the gold.
The An Giang province bodybuilder, 34, previously took home a gold medal from the Southeast Asian Games and has five Asian championship titles.
In 2000, he also won a silver medal in the world championship in Malacca, Malaysia./.
