The Vietnamese Embassy in Norway introduced the nation’s rich culture for the first time at the International Children’s Festival, which took place in the Norwegian southern city of Hamar from May 28-29.
As part of activities to mark the 40 th anniversary of Vietnam-Norway diplomatic ties, the embassy offered international friends a chance to learn more about Vietnamese country and people through traditional customs, dishes, Dong Ho paintings, lion and bamboo pole dances.
Organised for the first time in 2008, this event aims to promote mutual understanding among countries through music performances, exhibitions and traditional cultural displays./.
