Vietnam is currently among the world’s top five agricultural exporters, with key products such as coffee, cashew nuts, pepper, tea, rice, tropical fruits, and seafood increasingly favoured by European consumers, including those in Hungary.
The 11th Festival of Vietnamese Youth and Students in Europe was held in celebration of the 75th founding anniversary of Vietnam – Hungary diplomatic ties and the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Students.
This year’s event also included men, business leaders, and intellectuals, helping foster dialogue, networking, and empowerment on the path to position the Vietnamese value in the world.
Ambassador Bui Le Thai recounted President Ho Chi Minh’s journey to find a path to national salvation, affirming that it was undertaken not only for Vietnam’s independence but also for humanity’s common values – peace, independence, freedom, and happiness.
Botz László, Chairman, and Váraljai Márton, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hungary-Vietnam Friendship Association (HVFA) have been awarded the Friendship Order of the Vietnamese State in recognition of their contributions to fostering the friendship between the two nations.
