The ambassador expressed his confidence that Fareed’s credibility, capability, and enthusiasm would serve as an effective extension of the embassy’s efforts to promote trade, investment, tourism, people-to-people exchanges, and support for Vietnamese citizens in the region.
The festivities kicked off with a roundtable discussion co-organised by the Vietnamese Embassy and the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI), themed “Pakistan and ASEAN: Partners in Peace, Progress, and Regional Prosperity”.
Vietnamese citizens in India and Pakistan were advised to stay updated with new developments, not come to conflict-affected or unsafe areas, and contact the embassies when needed.
