Vietnamese firm becomes official sponsor of 2020 AFF Cup

The Dry Cell and Storage Battery JSC (PINACO) has become an official sponsor for the 2020 ASEAN Football Federation Championship (AFF Cup), the AFF confirmed.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Dry Cell and Storage Battery JSC(PINACO) has become an official sponsor for the 2020 ASEAN Football FederationChampionship (AFF Cup), the AFF confirmed.

This is the third time the Vietnamese companyhas sponsored the biennial football tournament.

The Vietnam Football Federation said thesponsorship will generate much value for the business itself as well as theVietnamese and regional football, especially after the Vietnamese team securedthe championship of the 2018 AFF Cup.

The 2020 AFF Cup is scheduled to take place fromNovember to December.

Meanwhile, the Asian Football Confederation(AFC) announced that the 2020 AFC Futsal Championship will be organised inTurkmenistan from August 5 to 16, rescheduled from February 26 - March 8 due tothe COVID-19 pandemic.

Vietnam is in Group A together with hostTurkmenistan, Tajikistan and Oman.

Moscow to host Vietnam Culture Festival for first time

Photo exhibition highlights Vietnam–Israel cultural ties
