More than 100 products and services developed by Vietnamese businesses were honoured as reliable and trustworthy this year in a ceremony held on Dec. 25.
These products were voted for by Vietnamese customers on websites run by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry for their quality, design, prices and environmental friendliness.
The top 20 products and services included Bac Huong rice, Sino electrical equipments, Ha Long tiles, Fami soya milk, Vietgen electric generators and Delta Vietnam security services.
The ceremony aimed at encouraging enterprises to increase quality and awarding those that met domestic and export demands, while promoting the consumption of Vietnamese goods.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc highly valued the initiative of honouring Vietnamese products, which will stimulate the use of Vietnamese goods among consumers.
He said that the State has conducted market research into consumption tastes and product distribution in rural and remote areas.
Phuc said that dissemination should be strengthened to help consumers understand more about Vietnamese products and services, making a meaningful contribution to the development progress of trademarks and global integration./.
