Members of the national shooting team are practising hard at the National Sports Training Centre in Hanoi to prepare for the upcoming 2013 ISSF Rifle and Pistol World Cup in Munich, Germany from May 23 to 30.

Vietnam will send seven athletes to the tournament, including Hoang Xuan Vinh and Tran Quoc Cuong (men’s air and slow fire pistol); Bui Quang Nam, Ha Minh Thanh and Kieu Thanh (men’s rapid fire pistol); Le Thi Hoang Ngoc (women’s air and sports pistol); and Nguyen Thi Xuan (women’s three position, air rifle).
Top male marksman Xuan Vinh was crowned men’s 10m air pistol champion at another World Cup competition in Changwon, the Republic of Korea , last month with 200.8 points, taking a 0.7 point lead over the Chinese runner-up Wang Zhiwei.-VNA
