Hanoi (VNA) - Ly Hoang Nam entered the men's singles quarter-finals of the China F1 Futures tennis tournament in Anning City on February 18.

Nam, world number 912, defeated China's Zhong Su Hao, world number 1,429 6-3, 6-0 in the second round.

The 19-year-old player beat China's Zhou Sheng Hao 6-1, 6-1 in the first round on February 17.

Southern Tay Ninh province-born Nam will meet Reiwein Sami of Germany, world number 969, or Ochi Makoto of Japan, world number 503, in the quarter-finals.-VNA
