Nam's improved ranking came after he entered the semi-finals of the recent Cambodia F27 Futures tournament.
With this jump, the 18-year-old has become the first Vietnamese tennis player to enter the ATP's top 1,000 rankings.
Nam said his next target would be to enter the top 800 rankings.-VNA
