The Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) announced a list of 30 leading IT companies in Vietnam on October 27 for their contributions to the development of the sector as well as the country.
This is the result of a programme to select 30 leading enterprises in packaging and outsourcing to introduce to potential partners from nearly 100 nations and territories in the world.
Several well-known brand names in the field such as FPT Software, NTT Data Vietnam and MK Smart are on the list.
Mai Liem Truc, Chairman of the Jury Board said that the selected businesses are not the biggest but take the lead in their own market segments with high competitiveness and good strategies to join the international market.
VINASA has printed 8,000 documents in English and Japanese along with the online version to facilitate the recommendation of these businesses to the world.
Additionally, the firms will be introduced to delegates from nearly 20 nations and territories in the 2014 Asian-Oceania Computing Industry Organisation (ASOCIO ICT) Summit on October 28-31 in Hanoi and central Da Nang city.
In 2013, these companies employed 15,000 skilled workers and raked in more than 300 million USD.
Many of them have reaped good successes in such large markets as America, Japan and in Europe.
They have made contributions to making Vietnam the second biggest software processing partner of Japan since 2012.-VNA
