Vietnam’s architecture featured in Thailand

A exhibition of paintings by four Thai artists opened on Feb. 11 in Bangkok, with 180 paintings featuring both old and new Vietnamese styles of architecture.

The paintings, by ThirasakWongcumnan, Somyos Kumsang, Suwit Jaipom and Direk Kingnok show theoutstanding architecture of many buildings as well as country scenes andthe daily lives of people in various parts of the country.

On addressing the opening ceremony, Vietnam ’s Ambassador to ThailandNgo Duc Thang said the exhibition is a meaningful cultural way ofgiving Thai people a better knowledge of just how beautiful and peacefulVietnam is and how hospitable its people are.

The event will strengthen the friendship between Vietnam andThailand , which has been built upon by both countries over 35 years.

The exhibition will be on display till March. 10./.
