The former world No 5, the only Vietnamese player in the world top ten, moved up from ninth position with 56,119 points.

As part of current rankings, world No 1 Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia is followed by China's Lin Dan in second and Peter Hoeg Gade from Denmark in third.

Chinese players dominate the women's rankings with Wang Shixian in first, Wang Yihan in second, Wang Xin in third and Jiang Yanjiao in fourth positions./.
