The opening of a Vietnamese cultural space at the Tours Expo 2011 in Tours city, France, has drawn attention from visitors.
Addressing the opening ceremony in Tours city, Mayor Jean Germain said Vietnam’s attendance at the expo as an honorary guest has brought wonderful images of Vietnam as a potential, dynamic and determined nation ready to rise on the international arena.
According to the mayor, a cooperation agreement will be signed in the next few weeks between Tours city where President Ho Chi Minh attended the Tours Congress in 1920 and Nghe An city – his homeland.
Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh attended the event as part of his visit to France./.
