Vietnam’s steel exports rose 40.4 percent year on year to 3.41 million tonnes in the first seven months of the year, raking in 2.53 billion USD, up 56.3 percent.
Steel products are among export staples with high growth in the first 10 months of this year, according to statistics of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Vietnam’s total steel export value in the first quarter this year rose 5.8 percent year-on-year to 744 million USD, the General Department of Vietnam Customs said on March 27.
