Vietravel Airlines ready for commercial flights

The Vietnam Travel Aviation Company Limited (Vietravel Airlines), Vietnam’s sixth carrier, will open ticket sales for commercial flights starting from 1:00 on January 19.

Hanoi (VNA) - The Vietnam Travel AviationCompany Limited (Vietravel Airlines), Vietnam’s sixth carrier, will open ticketsales for commercial flights starting from 1:00 on January 19.

Passengers can purchase tickets at its website, www.vietravelairlines.com.

To commemorate the occasion, the new carrier willoffer 50,000 tickets at VND 0 (excluding taxes and fees) from January 19 to 25 oruntil tickets are sold out.

General Director of Vietravel Airlines Vu Duc Biensaid that its first commercial flights are scheduled to take off onJanuary 25, with most routes seeing two flights a day.

The airline will increase flights and expand its networkin the time to come, especially during the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet)holiday.

Vietravel Airlines recently added a second Airbus A321ceoto its fleet, with a third expected to arrive on January 21./.

Thailand is currently Vietnam's largest trading partner within ASEAN, while Vietnam ranks as Thailand's sixth-largest trading partner globally. Deputy PM requests faster disbursement of ODA-funded projects

As of June 15, the disbursement rate for public investment funded by external sources had reached only 9.99% of the assigned plan. Although the figure was higher than in the same period last year, it remained well below the national average. Notably, one out of eight ministries and central agencies and 13 localities had yet to disburse any allocated capital.
