Vinacomin, Japan’s oil group promote production capacity

Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Group(Vinacomin) and the Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (Jogmec) onMay 29 agreed to enhance production capacity and safety.

Underthe one-year project, training will be provided for engineers from Ha Long CoalCompany and Ha Lam Coal joint Stock Company in exploitation technology andtechnical safety.

Thetwo sides will also collaborate to hold conferences and offer technicalguidance on mine and gas management, anchor drilling, examination and furnacemaintenance.

At the signing ceremony, Vinacomin Deputy General Director Nguyen Hoang Trung saidthat the project is significant to advance coal mines and moderniseexploitation techniques.

Vinacomin has collaborated with Jogmec in various programmes, which havebrought practical benefits to the group, Trung added.-VNA

January CPI rises on stronger Tet holiday demand
