HCM City (VNA) – Vietnamese people now can enjoya virtual reality tour around Taiwan (China) while riding an exercise bike, using aVR headset, at California Fitness & Yoga Centres.

It is part of the programme “360 VR Experience Taiwan in OneDay” initiated by the Tourism Bureau of Taiwan to promote tourism amid the COVI-19 pandemic.

The tourism promotion programme has been run by Taiwan inmany countries, given that COVID-19 travel restrictions are still in place.

Chief Representative of the Tourism Bureau of Taiwan in Ho ChiMinh City Derek Chou said Taiwan has been accelerating COVID-19 vaccine rolloutand reviving its tourism industry and tourism promotion overseas. The programme aims to introduce Taiwan among Vietnamese people, particularly sportlovers and adventurers./.

Project on digital transformation in cultural sector approved

By 2030, the project targets the establishment of shared digital platforms across 100% of cultural sectors.
