VNA-PRD tie to build a strong ASEAN

Cooperation between VNA and Thailand’s PRD will foster bilateral relations between VN and Thailand.
More cooperation between the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and Thailand’sPublic Relations Department (PRD) will contribute to foster bilateralrelations between Vietnam and Thailand, as well as to ensure astrong ASEAN community in the future.

VNA’sGeneral Director Nguyen Duc Loi and PRD’s General Director TeerapongSodasri made the remarks during their talks on June 6 as part of the 9th session of the VNA-PRD Joint Technical Committee in Ho Chi MinhCity .

They reviewed the extent of thecooperation, including the exchange of text contents and multimediainformation, visits by reporters and joint working when providinglanguage training for reporters.

Information onVietnam and Thailand has been publicised through various channels,including the written press, e-newspapers as well as the VNA and PRDtelevision channels, they said.

Both leadersagreed to increase the frequency of information exchange and diversifythe forms of text and multi-media information in the future, in additionto updating the kinds of cooperation in line with the development ofVNA and PRD.

They pledged to support each other’sreporters to work in each others countries, so both agencies can accessaccurate, up-to-date and objective information on each other’s politicaland socio-cultural situation in the coming time.

At the end of their talks, both leaders signed the minutes of themeeting and agreed to hold the 10 th session of the VNA-PRD JointTechnical Committee in Bangkok, Thailand in 2013./.

Vietnam, China celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations

Vietnam eyes stronger cooperation with Russia

Foreign policy contributes to propelling Vietnam into new era

2024 saw Vietnam significantly expanding its diplomatic activities with numerous partners and at various important multilateral forums and mechanisms. The country’s key leaders conducted a total of 60 external activities, including paying 21 visits to foreign countries and attend major multilateral conferences, as well as hosting 25 delegations of foreign leaders to Vietnam.
