The Vietnamese Football Federation (VFF) has announced that the national Under 19 team will take part in the Al Nakba International Tournament in Palestine from May 14-22.
The team will gather for pre-match training on April 22 before heading off for the tournament.
Nine teams will take part in the tournament, including Vietnam , Indonesia , Iraq , Jordan , Mauritania , Pakistan , Sri Lanka , Tunisia and Uzbekistan .
They will compete in three groups and the three winners from each group plus the best runner-up will enter the semifinals.
The Palestinian organisers have invited almost 600 international sports journalists and commentators to the event, including several from Vietnam.-VNA
