The Vietnam Volunteer Information Resource Centre opened in Hanoi on Dec. 9, becoming a national organisation that fosters, supports and regulates volunteer activities for development in Vietnam.
The centre, the first of its kind in Vietnam , will provide information on volunteer activities and organisations in Vietnam , connect individuals and organisations to cooperate, exchange programmes and support the development of volunteer activities.
VVIRC will also help improve skills of volunteers and managers through training sessions.
The centre’s office is located at 62 Ba Trieu street , the headquarter of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee./.
