– The War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City was ranked among the top 25 best museums in the world by tourism website TripAdvisor.

The website describes the museum as a must-see destination in Vietnam for anyone who wants an insight into the nation’s history.

The museum was established on September 4, 1975 at No. 28 Vo Van Tan Road, in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.

It primarily showcases exhibits related to the Vietnam War and the first Indochina War involving the French colonialists.

The top five museums in the TripAdvisor's list are the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York (the US), the Art Institute of Chicago (the US), the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg (Russia), the Musee d'Orsay in Paris (France) and the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City (Mexico).-VNA
