Hanoi (VNA) - The2022 World Cup has identified the four best teams reaching the semi-finalsafter victories in the quarterfinals: Argentina, Croatia, France and Morocco.

Among them, Morocco is the biggestsurprise of the 2022 World Cup after defeating Belgium, Spain and Portugal onthe way to the Top 4.

Although much appreciated, but the Frenchteam also needs to be very careful, because the strikers of this North Africancountry have overcome many big opponents before entering the semi-finals.

Morocco has created the biggest “earthquake”at the 2022 World Cup, when it defeated Portugal with a 1-0 result in thequarter-finals, becoming the first African team to reach the semi-finals of themost attractive football tournament on the planet.

Sharing with VietnamPlus, MoroccanAmbassador to Vietnam Jamale Chouaibi believed in the Moroccan squad’sdream of victory. He believed in the spirit of the team, the enthusiasticplayers and the tactics of the Moroccan coach.

“As an Ambassador, a citizen of Moroccoand a fan of the team, I am delighted that Morocco is in the top 4 of the bestteams, representing Africa at the 2022 World Cup,” the Ambassador excitedlysaid.

Talking about the upcoming match againstFrance, the Ambassador said he was optimistic about the results of the Moroccanteam.

“Like every Moroccan, we have a beautifuldream about the result of the match. We are confident because the team hasshown a very good team spirit since the beginning of World Cup. This is ourbest lineup. Therefore, the optimism is well-founded,” the Ambassador shared.

He assessed France as a strong team withgood players like Kylian Mbappe and Olivier Giroud, two of the top threescorers of the 2022 World Cup. However, Morocco also has warriors like Ounahi,Bono... He said that success in football is the strength of the team and togetherthey will create miracles.

“I am not surprised to learn that a lot ofVietnamese audiences are supporting Morocco. I think the reason is becauseMorocco is playing very well. In addition, the peoples of the two countrieshave long-standing sympathy and good friendship. We have a strong bond sincethe past," the Ambassador shared.

At the end of the conversation, theAmbassador thanked VietnamPlus for giving him the opportunity to share his joyand pride in the achievements of the national team. He also called onVietnamese fans to watch the match and support the Moroccan team.

Morocco will face France at Al BaytStadium in Qatar at 2am on December 15 (Vietnamtime)./.
