Hanoi (VNA) -
An awards ceremony for theVietnam Art Photo Contest and Exhibition 2020 was held in Hanoi on October 14.

Organised by the Department of Art, Photography, andExhibitions at the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the biennial contestaims to introduce outstanding works to Vietnamese and international audienceand review activities in Vietnam’s photography scene in the past previous years.

Open for four months, 12,480 entries from 1,516 photographersaround the country were submitted to the contest and 238 are now on display atthe capital’s Temple of Literature.

Le Tue from HCM City triumphed in the first categoryof the contest, while Nguyen Van Dung, also from the southern city, clinchedthe silver medal.

Huynh Pham Anh Dung from HCM City and Nong Viet Linhfrom Hanoi won gold in other categories.

The exhibition will remain open until October 23./.
