The U18 female footballers of Vietnam have wrapped up a training course in Okayama prefecture of Japan to prepare for the coming ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) U18 Women’s Championship in Indonesia.

Tokyo (VNA) – The U18female footballers of Vietnam have wrapped up a training course in Okayamaprefecture of Japan to prepare for the coming ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) U18Women’s Championship in Indonesia.

During the course starting onJune 16, the team of head coach Ijiri Akira also played friendlies with theVietnamese people’s team of the Vietnam - Japan Sports and Culture ExchangeAssociation in Kansai, and Okayama Yunogo Belle – a club playing at the Japan Women’sFootball League 2.

The Vietnamese footballersalso engaged in exchange activities with primary and secondary schools in Okayamaprefecture.

Nguyen Vo Huyen Duong, arepresentative of the Vietnam Football Federation in Japan, said aside from thewomen’s U18 team, the women’s U15 and men’s U20 teams are also set to undergotraining in Japan this August./.

PM Chinh suggested Brazil and Vasco da Gama increase cooperation activities and support Vietnam in developing football, such as training and educating players, especially improving players' physical strength and skills, improving management capacity, developing brands, mobilising and managing resources, organising competitions, as well as continuing to "export" Brazilian players to Vietnam and Vietnamese players to Brazil.

Italian short films to be screened in Hanoi

Vietnam Summer Camp 2025 promotes cultural connection, national unity

Running from July 13 - 26, the 2025 camp’s itinerary includes visits to historic and cultural sites like Cu Chi Tunnels, Kon Tum Prison Relic Site, and Quang Tri Martyrs’ Monument. Delegates will also take part in charitable activities in the Central Highlands, experience gong culture, and join exchanges with local youths and officers of the Vietnam Peacekeeping Department.
