The sacred land of Yen Tu in northeastern Quang Ninh province has been selected by the Vietnam Records Organisation as one of the 10 most attractive spiritual destinations in Vietnam.
The nomination is part of a programme entitled “Journey to seek and promote attractive destinations in Vietnam ” supported by the Asia and Indochina Records Organisations.
Together with Yen Tu, the list includes Ngu Hanh Son (Marble Mountains) in central Da Nang city, Mot Cot (One-pillar) Pagoda and Huong Son (Perfume Mountain) - Huong Pagoda in Hanoi, Bai Dinh Pagoda in northern Ninh Binh province, Thien Mu Pagoda in central Thua Thien-Hue province, Da Lat Truc Lam Zen Monastery in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong, the statue of Jesus Christ in southern Vung Tau city, Caodaism Church in southern Tay Ninh province and Ba Chua Xu (Local Goddess) Temple in Chau Doc, An Giang.-VNA
