Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan presented Golden Globe awards to 10 outstanding young people in science and technology in Hanoi on Dec. 29.
The award honours young talents in information technology (IT), the medicine-pharmaceutical technology, bio-technology, and environmental technology.
Deputy PM Nhan said he hopes the awardees will make greater efforts to contribute to boosting scientific and technological research and application and help the country catch up with the world in this field.
The Deputy PM also commended the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and the Ministry of Science and Technology on organising the Golden Globe awards.
