Zhejiang Int’l Trade Exhibition, Export Fair to take place in HCM City in September

The 2024 Zhejiang International Trade Exhibition and the 12th Zhejiang Export Fair (generally referred to as Zhejiang Expo 2024) will kick off at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Centre (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City on September 26.

Hanoi (VNA) – The 2024 Zhejiang International Trade Exhibition and the 12th Zhejiang Export Fair (generally referred to as Zhejiang Expo 2024) will kick off at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Centre (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City on September 26.

The three-day event, among the largest and oldest expos held by China’s Zhejiang authority in ASEAN region, is co-organised by Yuanda Zhejiang International Exhibition Co Ltd and the Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company (Vinexad).

The Zhejiang Expo 2024, which will be held concurrently with two other exhibitions - Vietnam Sport Show and Vietnam Cycle Expo – is expected to draw over 300 enterprises from 12 countries and territories. The 9,000 sq.m expo will feature 500 booths, showcasing textile and consumer goods, sports & outdoor leisure and hardware products.

It offers an opportunity for businesses to meet, exchange experiences, explore new products and technologies from leading enterprises of Zhejiang province.

Zhejiang Expo 2024 is an important platform for Zhejiang province and Vietnam to strengthen exchanges and cooperation. It not only promotes understanding between the two sides but also lays a solid foundation for future collaboration./.

Vietnam ready to further open market for US exports: Minister

Regarding the ongoing negotiations on a Reciprocal Trade Agreement between the two countries, he emphasised that Vietnam remains consistent in its approach to the talks with the US, aiming for a bilateral agreement based on respect for sovereignty, independence, political system, harmonisation and balance of interests, as well as in line with international commitments and the development level of each country.
