A special ceremony to honor descendants of Hung King in 5 continents

Through the competition, the Vietnam Ancestral Global Day has aroused feelings of national pride and proud in most generations of Vietnamese expatriates.

In the evening of July 7th, at Hung Vuong Conventional Center, the ceremony to honor the global descendants of Hung King 2020 was taken place. The ceremony was connected to 10 countries, in order to spread the values and virtues of Vietnamese people to mass public, compatriots, expatriates and international friends.

Speaking at the ceremony, Professor, Dr. Ta Ngoc Tan, Former Member of the Party Central Committee, former Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration, said that Vietnam Ancestral Global Day project was established in 2015.

The mission of this project is to connect the strength of national solidarity, position Vietnamese values globally and with international friends to preserve the intangible cultural values of mankind.The Vietnam Ancestral Global Day 2020 Competition was launched from March 18th to May 31st.

This year’s Hung Kings Commemorations (on March 10th of the lunar year) attracted thousands of expatriates and international friends from nearly 100 countries and territories simultaneously change their Facebook avatar, to compress their souls towards Vietnamese ancestors.

Along with that, 277 entries from 25 countries on all 5 continents, with diverse genres and forms of expression were sent to the competition.

At the ceremony, the organizers honored and awarded medals and certificates to advisors who supported Vietnam Ancestral Global Day project; awarded 35 works of the competition and honored emissaries, angels, units and individuals who contributed to the construction of the project.

Through the competition, the Vietnam Ancestral Global Day has aroused feelings of national pride and proud in most generations of Vietnamese expatriates. Vietnam Ancestral Global Day has approached, spread and touched to millions of hearts and national consciousness of most Vietnamese expatriates./.
