Made-in-Vietnam cranes look further abroad

Of the total, four rubber-tyred gantry cranes (RTGC) will be shipped to Singapore as the first batch of the product of the Port of Singapore Authority (PSA) project inked between Doosan Heavy Industries and Construction Co. with the Singaporean Government in September, 2009. The project was scheduled to be completed in July, 2012.

The four cranes, each of 153 tonnes in weight, 26 metres in height, 25 metres in length and 14 metres in width, have a capacity of loading 40-tonne containers.

The other three rail-mounted quay cranes (RMQC) will be shipped to India as part of the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust project.

The cranes, each measured at 1,078 tonnes in weight, 101 metres in height, 120 metres length and 27 metres width, have a capacity of carrying 50 tonnes.

The exports showcased the outstanding skills of the company’s staff and affirmed a firm foothold for Vietnamese made products which meet international standards in the world market./.
