10 infrastructure works put into use in border EZ

As many as 10 infrastructure works in the Cau Treo International Border Gate Economic Zone in the central province of Ha Tinh had been put into operation by the end of April.
As many as 10 infrastructure works in the Cau Treo International BorderGate Economic Zone in the central province of Ha Tinh had beenput into operation by the end of April.

Accordingto Tran Bau Ha, Head of the zone’s management board, the works includedtraffic roads and water supply systems in the EZ and several nearbycommunes.

The State and Ha Tinh province have so farinvested in 93 infrastructure projects in the EZ with a totalinvestment of 2 trillion VND (95 million USD).

TheEZ, which boasts a favourable traffic route to Laos and northeasternThailand, is now home to 110 licensed enterprises and nearly 800household businesses that paid over 20 billion VND in import-exporttaxes in the first four months of this year./.

Can Tho, Guangxi seek collaboration in logistics, supply chains

Chinese investors now back 35 projects in Can Tho with registered capital of nearly 1.2 billion USD. In the first seven months of 2026, Can Tho’s exports to China hit 77.5 million USD, while imports stood at 64.7 million USD. Key exports included rice, seafood, farm produce, processed agricultural products and apparel while main imports comprised agricultural chemicals, veterinary medicines, fertilisers, chemicals, fabrics and other materials and inputs.

Vietnam, Russia move to boost financial cooperation

On bilateral economic, trade and investment ties, Tuan said two-way trade hit 3.24 billion USD in the first seven months of 2026, up 12% from a year earlier. Vietnam’s exports to Russia totaled 1.33 billion USD, while imports amounted to 1.91 billion USD.
