The 12th session of the 14th National Assembly Standing Committee opened in Hanoi on July 11.

Hanoi (VNA) –The 12th session of the 14th National Assembly Standing Committee opened in Hanoi on July 11.

NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan told the committee thatthe session will last one and a half days, focusing on the outcomes of the 14th legislature’s3rd session which took place from May 22 to June 21.
The committee will also discuss preparations for the fourthNA session in October, the ratification of Protocol 7 on the customs transit systemunder the ASEAN Framework Agreement in order to facilitate the transit of goodsin Vietnam, and policies for public servants and labourers working in the Institutefor Legislative Studies.

According to her, from this session, the NA Standing Committeewill begin its meeting on the tenth day of each month, except in case itcoincides with holidays or other major events. Each meeting will not last formore than 7 days.-VNA

NA meeting considers personnel affairs
