The 2010 International Exhibition of Construction, Building Materials, Housing and Interior Décor (Vietbuild) officially opened in the capital city of Hanoi on April 1, attracting 412 domestic and overseas enterprises.
The exhibition, the largest of its kind in the country, is held annually by the Ministry of Construction in Hanoi, DaNang and Ho Chi Minh City.
At the five-day event, many trade promotions and investment opportunities will be on offer amongst the 1,260 stands that are displaying the latest high quality designs and extra features to meet the rising demands from construction and interior-exterior décor companies.
The exhibition will focus on introducing numerous new products, technologies and customer care services, said the organising board. Many industry seminars will also be held to help businesses exchange their experiences and provide face to face advice to customers. Retail property services and various other programmes will also be available to help develop the real estate market.
At the opening ceremony, the businesses that won the 2010 Hanoi Vietbuild gold cup were also honoured./.
