Cai Mep port in the southern province of Ba Ria- Vung Tau will welcome four international cruise liners in early this month, carrying over 7,000 tourists to Vietnam.
The Costa Atlantica cruise ship with 1,000 Chinese tourists on board anchored at the port on March 7.
Luxury ships Mariner of the Seas and Celebrity Century carrying 1,980 and 2,100 passengers, respectively, from the US, Europe, China, Canada and Australia will land at the port on March 9 and 10.
Visitors from the three liners will discover Vietnam through tours to Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City and Mekong Delta My Tho city (Tien Giang province).
On March 8, luxury cruise ship Celebrity Millennium from the US, carrying over 2,000 tourists, docked at the port and will tour Vung Tau city, Hue city, Hanoi and Ha Long city.
