79 years of Vietnam News Agency: Proud milestones

On September 15, 1945, the Declaration of Independence, which announced the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam), was broadcast worldwide in Vietnamese, French, and English. This event marked the founding of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA), the first official news agency in the country’s history. During its 79 years of development (Sept. 15, 1945 - 2024), the VNA has performed its function as a national news agency, providing timely news on all social aspects in Vietnam and the world for domestic and foreign media with continuously updated and official sources.
