A taste of Thailand in the heart of Hanoi

As soon as visitors step into the food area, they're instantly drawn in by the irresistible aroma of classic Thai dishes.

Over 50 stalls offer a wide range of traditional favorites—from well-known treats like pad Thai, mango sticky rice, and tom yum, to dishes rarely seen in Vietnam such as green curry, Som Tam papaya salad, and durian Thai dessert.

More than just a culinary experience, the festival allows guests to watch Thai chefs prepare dishes right at the stalls, creating an authentic atmosphere reminiscent of Bangkok’s vibrant night markets.

One of the biggest crowd favorites is pad Thai—a famous stir-fried noodle dish with a perfect blend of fish sauce, tamarind, palm sugar, and crunchy peanuts. Many visitors were thrilled to taste this dish made by real Thai chefs for the very first time.

“The space is spacious with so many stalls to explore. We saw booths with traditional clothing and food.

“We tried Thai milk tea—it’s creamier and tastier than what we usually get in Vietnam. This is a real cultural exchange between Vietnam and Thailand. It’s a great way for people to discover the richness of each other’s food culture.”

The dessert section was just as tempting. Mango sticky rice—fragrant sticky rice topped with rich coconut milk and sweet ripe mango—and chilled Thai dessert with durian and colorful jelly were among the top picks.
