Bangkok (VNA) – A business forum took place in Bangkok, Thailand, on October 9, a curtain-raiser to the 2nd Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Summit on the next day.

The ACD Connect Business Forum 2016 offered an opportunity for representatives from the private sector across Asia to discuss innovative ideas for submission to regional authorities at their dialogue the following day, with a range of activities supporting business connectivity held on the sideline.

Financial technology and financing infrastructure were two major topics of discussion among 500 participants from 34 ACD member States.

The ACD Connect Network Portal was launched at the event.

In his speech opening the forum, Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha highlighted the key role of enterprises to the regional growth.
