Air Busan from the Republic of Korea has launched a new direct flight route connecting the southern port city of Busan and central Da Nang City, central Vietnam.
The carrier announced on April 10 that chartered flights between the two cities began regular operations on April 9.
Initially, there are two flights weekly, on Thursdays and Sundays, departing at 21:35 in Busan and at 13:10 from Da Nang (local time).
The flight duration is 4 hours and 35 minutes each way.
Air Busan plans to double the flight schedule to four times a week from May through August.
Established in October 2008, the low-cost airliner operates 14 international and domestic air routes, connecting with China, Japan, and several Southeast Asia nations.-VNA
