Hanoi (VNA) – Air Seoul Inc., a subsidiary of Asiana Airlines of the Republic of Korea, announced on September 26 that it will open a new route to Hanoi as from December 16, 2019.
As scheduled, Air Seoul will offer seven flights per week to the Vietnamese capital.
This is one of the new strategies of the company to diversify services, especially on the Southeast Asian routes, amid lower demand for travel to Japan.
Demand on the Japanese routes has fallen sharply since early July when Tokyo implemented restrictions on the export of key materials to the Republic of Korea.
Korean airlines have halted or reduced services on their Japanese routes, while expanding flights to other countries./.
