Vietnam becomes RoK’s key export market in ASEAN

The RoK’s exports to Vietnam rose 7.6% in 2025 from a year earlier to 62.8 billion USD, while imports from Vietnam climbed 11.7% to 31.8 billion USD, according to data released by the RoK’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea International Trade Association (KITA).

Vietnamese, Korean firms seek to enhance connectivity in new context

The association has actively contributed to policy discussions on issues important to Vietnam, including support for small- and medium-sized enterprises, artificial intelligence (AI) and sovereignty, as well as AI and semiconductor development policies in the RoK, while proposing recommendations for Vietnam.

Korean-language version of Nhan Dan Online launched

The launch of the Korean-language version of Nhan Dan Online is a concrete step in implementing the Party’s and State’s policy on strengthening external information work, meeting the requirement on building an official information channel in a widely used language.

Writing contest highlights life of Vietnamese students in RoK

Contestants were required to complete three stages: an essay in Korean (2,000–3,000 words), and an online interview. A total of 18 contestants from universities across the RoK were selected for the final, where they delivered a Korean-language presentation summarising their essay.

Vietnam’s personal care device market grew around 23.7% over two years, rising from about 5.31 million USD in 2022 to 6.57 million USD in 2024. The market is projected to expand to 12.27 million USD by 2028, reflecting an annual compound growth rate of 7.6%.

Vietnam, RoK step up cooperation in labour, employment

RoK’s Air Busan to resume Busan–Hanoi route after six-year hiatus

Flights will run on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, departing Gimhae International Airport at 8:30 pm and arriving at Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport at 11:30 pm. The return leg will leave Hanoi at 12:40 am and land in Gimhae at 7:05 am, with a total flight time of about five hours.

Vietnam, RoK pledge closer legislative, economic collaboration

The National Assemblies of Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) will maintain regular exchanges of high-level delegations to share legislative experience, improve the legal framework for sustainable development, and enhance their role in overseeing the implementation of international treaties and bilateral agreements.
