HCM City (VNA) – HCM City has joined Bangkokand Bali in a new list of best places for single travel.

According to Airbnb’s data, an accommodation service that allows people to listtheir homes and hotels for holiday rentals, HCM City is among the five mostexciting places for singles.

Visitors can get lost in Ben Thanh Market in the maze of thousands of shopsselling a wide range of goods.

The War Remnants Museum, the Independence Palace, and the Cu Chi Tunnels,which is 70km northwest of downtown HCM City, are war-related sites popularamong visitors.

HCM City was named among the 15 fastest-growing tourist cities in the worldby Travelsupermarket website, which has forecast that Vietnam'sbiggest city will welcome 10.2 million international tourists by 2025.

It welcomed 2.25 millionforeign visitors in the first quarter of 2019, equal to 27 percent of thisyear's target and making up half the foreign arrivals in Vietnam in the period,according to the HCM City Department of Tourism.-VNA
