ASEAN 2020: Exhibition on ASEAN traditional costumes opens in Hanoi
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in collaboration with embassies of ASEAN countries in Vietnam, held an exhibition featuring ASEAN traditional costumes in Hanoi on October 21. The event is to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the ASEAN Community and Vietnam’s Chair of ASEAN in 2020. It will last till October 28.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc received UN Resident Coordinator Kamal Malhotra and chief representatives of UN organisations in Vietnam on October 21.
Vietnam has been making great strides in projecting itself as an effective ASEAN leader, particularly with its proactive governance in handling the COVID-19 pandemic, climate change policy, and for its political stability, the ASEAN Post reported.
