The Agriculture and Rural Development Bank of Vietnam (Agribank) will build the first Automated Teller Machine (ATM) on Ly Son Island.
Vo Phu Tai, director of the Ly Son Agribank branch, said the bank will pay 500 million VND (24,000 USD) to set up the ATM, starting next month.
The island, 30km off the coast of the central province of Quang Ngai, is home to 21,000 islanders and often used as a summer holiday vacation spot. It connected with the national power grid and internet last year.
